Guidelines for Authors
Procedure for Accepting Articles for Publication
Submitted texts (via the platform or, alternatively, to the editorial office address) are initially evaluated by the editorial team and qualified for further processing. In the case of significant formal deficiencies, they may be returned to the author for correction.
Each article is reviewed by two reviewers. Authors and reviewers are unaware of each other's identities. The review involves sending the anonymized texts to two reviewers representing the same academic discipline as the author. Starting in 2025, both reviewers must be affiliated with an institution other than UKSW. Details of the review procedure can be found in the tab (Peer Review Process).
After the appropriate recommendations and comments have been provided to the Editorial Office by the reviewers, the author of the article is acquainted with them. If the article requires revisions, the author is then asked to respond to them or make the necessary changes.
A negative evaluation from both reviewers results in the complete rejection of the text. In the case of one negative review, an additional reviewer is appointed, whose opinion determines whether the text is accepted or rejected by the journal.
After the editorial work is completed, the author receives the text for approval.
