The author has attempted to present the biography of canon priest Antoni Lipowski, who in church historiography appears primarily as the parish priest of the parish of the Transfiguration in Zuzela and the minister of the baptism of Stefan Wyszyński – later the metropolitan archbishop of Gniezno and Warsaw, the primate of Poland. Meanwhile, in the life of a hardworking pastor, many other episodes have been identified that shed more light on his childhood, family environment and ministry in several parishes.
