Te commandment of love clearly requires forgiveness from everyone. Tere is also no doubt that the gesture of forgiveness is of great importance for the lives of individuals and entire communities. However, observing such a principle of life is a serious challenge. Tis study is a reflection on forgiveness based on the teaching of Blessed Stefan Wyszynski, Primate of Poland, delivered at Jasna Góra. It is of particular value because the Primate not only taught on this subject, but also repeatedly showed that he was able to do so. Blessed Stefan indicated that he found the source of courage to forgive in Mary.
