Open Access Policy

Studia Gdańskie is a Diamond Open Access peer-reviewed journal. All published articles are made immediately and permanently available online free of charge. Readers may access, read, download, copy, distribute, print, and share the published content without subscription or registration.

The journal does not charge any fees for manuscript submission, editorial processing, peer review, or publication. Authors are not required to pay article processing charges (APCs), submission fees (ASFs), language editing fees, page charges, colour charges, or any other publication-related fees.

Copyright 

Authors retain copyright to their published works.

By publishing in Studia Gdańskie, authors grant the Publisher a non-exclusive licence to publish, distribute, archive, and index the article in print and electronic form.

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution–NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-ND 4.0) licence.

This licence permits users to:

• Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format, including for commercial purposes.

Under the following conditions:

• Attribution — appropriate credit must be given to the author, a link to the licence must be provided, and any changes (where permitted) must be indicated.
• NoDerivatives — if the material is remixed, transformed, or adapted, the modified version may not be distributed.

Self-Archiving Policy

Authors may deposit without embargo:

• the submitted manuscript (Preprint),
• the accepted manuscript (Author Accepted Manuscript),
• the final published Version of Record,

in institutional repositories, disciplinary repositories, personal websites, and other recognised repositories.

Publication Fees

Studia Gdańskie follows the Diamond Open Access model.

The journal charges no fees at any stage of the publication process. Authors do not pay submission fees, article processing charges (APCs), editorial fees, language editing fees, page charges, colour charges, or any other publication-related costs.

To ensure permanent availability and preservation of published content, the journal participates in long-term digital preservation services provided by the National Library of Poland and the Public Knowledge Project (PKP).

The electronic version published on the journal website constitutes the version of record.
