Abstract

Freedom, which almost everyone wants, has become a scarce commodity, and individuals have been locked in various "digital bubbles" that limit them only to their own image of the world. This article is an attempt to indicate ways to maintain freedom despite the very thriving filter and information bubbles. It was developed using tools from the field of pastoral theology and auxiliary sciences, and its essential elements are: 1) providing information on content filtering algorithms; 2) drawing attention to the issue of the information and filtering bubble; and 3) presenting the topic under discussion from the perspective of applied theology.
