Abstract

The article shows the problem of human trafficking on a globalscale. For this purpose, it presents a definition of the presented phenomenon.It lists the most important forms of exploitation and etiology of the discussedissue. He also attempts to juxtapose the subject of trafficking in human beingswith the smuggling of immigrants, armed conflicts, trafficking in children,and human organs. It presents statistics on trafficking in human beings, thenumber of victims of this practice and data regarding this phenomenon invarious parts of the world (Africa, Americas, the Middle East, Asia and Oceania,Europe and Central Asia).
