Man can not live without love and very o en feels the need to share love with the surrounding world and other people. and it is concern for the welfare of others, inspired by the nobility of heart and sensitivity should be the basis of all philanthropic activities and volunteering. Volunteering as a special idea allows you to save the dying hope for a better tomorrow and life. Without hope, afer all, hard to exist normally, and every new day stands as a sad necessity. In particular, we would like to look at the motivation of volunteers who sacrificed not only their time but also their abilities, skills or material goods at the disposal of the young church. The issue of these is not so interesting how many carries important practical aspect. Getting to know the main reasons for volunteering, we are able to know its essence, to understand the driving force of activity of individuals. This is also important from the point of view of the volunteers themselves. if they know the motives of their actions, much easier they will be to select those bene ts which will enable them to achieve a certain satisfaction. it is important, after all, the volunteer had the feeling that the work is necessary and makes sense. at translates to his commitment. The volunteer work is not about satisfaction with the nancial backing, but one that stems from a desire to help. Ofen, such motivation is nieporównywanie higher than the material. in this work are included the results of research on motivation of volunteers during WYD in 2016.
