Case study: współpraca Caritas Polska z Fundacją Biedronki

Abstract

The article deals with corporate social responsibility (CSR) in the context of relief efforts for war refugees from Ukraine undertaken by Caritas Poland in cooperation with the Biedronka Foundation. The starting point is a theoretical account of CSR and its relationship to the social teachings of the Catholic Church. The article presents the legitimacy of humanitarian solidarity with the Ukrainian people. It presents the cooperation of Caritas Poland and the Biedronka Foundation within the framework of the support programme „Welcome and Help – Shopping”. The subject of the analysis was, among others, the teaching of the Catholic Church, reports of Caritas Polska and Biedronka Foundation, available scientific and journalistic studies.
