Abstract

The article focuses on the work of the American radio artist Gregory Whitehead, with particular emphasis on the early stage of his work. The selected research method is structural-semiotic analysis and, as an auxiliary method, medium-specific analysis. The aim of the article is to present and analyze selected works of Gregory Whitehead (with particular emphasis on the early stage of the artist's work) and indicate their idiosyncratic features. The key concepts are interference and entropy, treated as structural elements of the broadcast, and the presence of mise en abyme.
