Abstract

This article concerns public tasks of Greater London Authority (GLA), an administrative body for Greater London. In the Author’s opinion, on the example of English legislation, it can be assumed that the key metropolitan tasks include those related to the transport. Moreover, the transport strategy – a comprehensive document defining development of all means of transport – should play a vital role in planning the transport of the metropolis.
