The use of remotely controlled aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles has increased in recent years. Technological development allows them to be used in tourism and recreation, sports, infrastructure or industry, as well as during the war. The article discusses the issue of the use of UAV in order to eliminate persons suspected of terrorism from the perspective of international humanitarian law and human rights. At the same time, the article presents proposals for a new legal framework formulated by Amnesty International. The risk of violation of the right to privacy as a human right, by drone users and by state services was also noted. Attention was paid to the amendment of European aviation law in this regard.
