Abstract

As performing the study of the latria issue in Elizabeth’s Catez writings – Elizabeth of the Trinity, first the aspect of adoration itself has been specified (latria, dulia, hyperdulia). Next, the adoration topic in Elizabeth’s writings has been introduced– “adoration in the Elizabeth’s Catez perception” and then, there have been pointed out and done the analysis of the following adoration aspects: “adoration latria before the Holy Sacrament”, “adoration latria as spiritual remaining by Jesus that is present in the other person”, “adoration latria as a form of support or thanksgiving”, “adoration latria and silence and calm”, “adoration latria and action”, “Mary as the teacher and model of adoration”.

In Elizabeth’s of the Trinity adorable remaining by God, the naturalness of her outlook was clearly visible. She didn’t have to force herself to it, and the time spent on adoration didn’t hang for her. It was definitely God’s grace who is “the creator of wanting and acting according to [His] will” (Phil 2:13), but also her connection with God that was full of simplicity and love.
