Abstract

Pastoral discernment of Pope Francis emphasized the expression “periphery of the Church”. e term is used in the sense of a new awareness of the Church towards the poors and social exclusion. is study intends the periphery of the Church in another sense, that in connection with the post-conciliar debate about the decentralization of the Church. a er Vatican II, the implementation of episcopal collegiality, the central theme of the Council, has shifed the balance point in the pastoral discernment: from the dynamic “from the centre to the periphery” to “from the periphery to the centre”. e centre means the Church of rome and the periphery the local Churches. We propose an analysis of this new dynamic at the base of the Ad limina visits afer Vatican II. In 1975, the functioning of this institution become more collegial. e meetings with the pope and the roman Curia are or- ganized by group of bishops and attention shi s more to the churches in the periphery and to their life they are experiencing. e post-conciliar orientation of Ad limina visits shows that there is a signi cant element of decentralization of the Church a er last Council.

Ks. dr Artur Antoni Kasprzak urodził się w ostrowie Wielkopolskim 27 Vii 1975 r. Po ukończeniu arcybiskupiego Seminarium w Poznaniu i Wyższego Seminarium w Kaliszu otrzymał święcenia prezbiteratu 25 V 2000 r. W 2003 r. został wysłany na studia specjalistyczne do instytutu Katolickiego w Paryżu, gdzie obronił pracę doktorską, otrzymując tytuł doktora z teologii w Instytucie Katolickim Paryżu oraz w trybie cotutelle na Katolickim Uniwersytecie w Louvain w Belgii, (4 Xi 2008 r.). Praca doktorska, opublikowana w języku francuskim, nosi tytuł: Kolegialność episkopalna interpretowana jako współodpowiedzialność w myśli i działaniu kardynała Leona-Józefa Suenensa. Postawa pasterza w kryzysie po Soborze Watykańskim II. Po powrocie do swojej diecezji ks. Kasprzak pełnił funkcję diecezjalnego duszpasterza akademickiego (2009-2013), Prefekta ds. studiów w Wyższym Seminarium duchownym w Kaliszu (2010-2014), Pełnomocnika dziekana ds. organizacji Studiów w Wyższym Seminarium duchownym, diecezjalnego referenta ds. Misji (2013-2014). Był członkiem Krajowej Komisji teologicznej odnowy w duchu Świętym oraz diecezjalnej rady Koordynującej inicjatywy Nowej ewangelizacji w diecezji kaliskiej. od 2014 r. podjął studia postdoktoranckie na instytucie Katolickim w Paryżu w celu przygotowania dossier habilitacyjnego. zakres obecnych badań specjalistycznych odnosi się do autorytetu w Kościele po Soborze Watykańskim II. Ks. Kasprzak jest autorem kilkunastu publikacji dotyczących odnowy eklezjologii w XX wieku, Soboru Watykańskiego ii, problematyki kryzysu, który nastąpił po Soborze Watykańskim ii w krajach europy zachodniej. Jego artykuły można znaleźć w znanych czasopismach polskich, francuskich i belgijskich.
