Abstract

In search of answers to the question of how should look like pastoral care of the Church of the twenty first century in a world that is changing faster and faster, he becomes a victim of its disorderly development, with help comes encyclical Spe Salvi, Pope Benedict XVI. The man lost in the numerous superficial alternatives consumer lifestyle lose hope for a better tomorrow, narrows the prospects for the here and now, finally becoming a subject of interest in this or any other retail chain profit-oriented, and not the good of emphasizing his dignity. Pastor to the solitude confused man helps him to restore hope indicating received in Jesus Christ, salvation, being dependable hope. Pastor – an icon of God helping to unmask man his illusory so far life, based on the relevant Christianity anthropology may show presented by Benedict XVI triad (prayer, upright human conduct and the experience of suffering, the last Judgement), which is a concrete response to the three major worrying trends of modernity (unrestrained development, total exhaustion and death of the great desires, overgrowth of the intellectual approach to human).
