Abstract

In the paper presented, the author presented the results of a study on the subject of simulation in rotal judgments rendered in 2012, published in Romanae Rotae Decisiones in 2018. On the issue of the good of the offspring, he showed that rotal judges took the position of the permanence of exclusion. Some ponensi linked the good of faith to the good of offspring. In the area of the good of the spouses, they relied on the doctrine of the Second Vatican Council in arguing the in iure part. Finally, as regards the good of the sacrament, they opted for the thesis that it is part of the essence of marriage.
