Abstract

The aim of the article is to characterize the poetics of nature reportage as a genre in which the nature becomes the dominant element. The idea of active and empathetic sensitivity is the key category of the nature’s perception. The article presents the analyses of three reportages by Adam Robiński: Hajstra. The Landscape from Side Roads, Kiczery. A Journey through the Bieszczady Mountains and Palaces on the Water. On the Trail of Polish Beavers. The research combined the „close reading” method with the „green reading” perspective. Analyzes have shown that the nature writing techniques used by the journalist help to educate the reader and develop his sensitivity.
