Andrzej Fidyk's documentary films focus on the problems faced by collectivities in various regions of the world. The director aims to shed light on important and specific issues related to the state, treating the state as the main protagonist. In order to effectively address these issues, Fidyk presents visually striking and culturally relevant images that resonate with the viewer. By doing so, he seeks to generate a sense of connection and recognition among the audience. The director employs rhetorical techniques to persuasively communicate his arguments and provoke thought and discussion. In this process, topicality plays a significant role, serving as a powerful tool of film rhetoric. Fidyk's films often revolve around recurring themes and motifs, drawing inspiration from genres such as romantic comedy in American and Polish cinema. Despite its association with advertising and propaganda, persuasion has a legitimate place in factual films, and Fidyk utilizes it effectively to engage and inform viewers.
