This article describes a study of the environmental awareness of residents of Mazovia (region in Poland) in the context of the Smart Villages concept. The CAWI study involved 574 individuals and covered topics such as familiarity with the Smart Villages concept, attitudes toward new technologies and the internet, awareness of air quality, food, waste, and clean energy, and access to professional information. Additionally, the author conducted a keyword analysis related to Smart Villages based on Google data. The text concludes with conclusions regarding communication, promotion, and awareness-raising.
