Abstract

From an economic standpoint, job is the major factor that enables the development of an individual’s personality and creates the position of function in many areas of life. This article deals with the social teaching of the Church in the context of economic activity as a triad: job as a person’s calling in their development; activity versus development; and the ethics of investing.
