Abstract

The report presents the course of the international academic conference “Migrations in the Middle Ages in East-Central Europe and Beyond”, held on November 27, 2024, by the Institute of History of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. The author describes the structure of the meeting, which consisted of four thematic panels and fourteen presentations devoted to topics such as monastic mobility, Slavic ethnogenesis, and the migration of nobles, clergy, and women in the Middle Ages. The conference brought together scholars from Poland, Croatia, and Slovakia, fostering academic exchange and reflection on the universal nature of migration.
