Abstract

Factors inhibiting the new evangelisation include proselytism and clericalism, among many others. The author asks what these phenomena are and how to remove them so that they do not hold back the new evangelisation. The discussion of proselytism and clericalism is conducted in the catechetical perspective of the new evangelisation. The author presents what the new evangelisation is, shows the directions of the new evangelisation for the renewal of the world and its catechetical specificity, the areopaghi of the new evangelisation and the forums of catechesis. The author concludes that both the question of the new evangelisation and its obstacles are about one thing - whose Church is. If man is taken as the owner, the image of the Church will be marked by the weakness of human nature and, above all, by an act of usurpation. The Lord of the Church is one. He is Jesus Christ.
