Islamophobia – fear of terrorism or threat of an alien religion?

Abstract

The article Islamophobia – fear of terrorism or threat of an alien religion? it is an attempt to analyze the phenomenon known as Islamophobia, which has recently significantly intensified. The failure of the wars in the Middle East, especially in Iraq and a spurt of young Arabs referred to as the Arab Spring led to the collapse of many years of political regimes in the region, in addition to Syria, the consequence of which was sunk in the chaos of the administrative many countries. It was created as a self-styled caliphate – ISIS operating in Iraq, Syria and Libya. ISIS organization of a terrorist is considered one of the most dangerous and unpredictable militant groups fighting in the name of Islam, who recently carried out bombings in Europe. Activity ISIS contributed to the exodus of the inhabitants of the Middle East and North Africa to Europe, which growth fell for the summer of 2015. The increased influx of people representing different culture, customs and religion, has become a cause of concern for Europeans to preserve their cultural identity and, therefore, again returned to the issue of Islamophobia.
