OPEN  ACCESS  POLICY

The publishing policy of the Francis de Sales Scientific Society regarding materials published in Seminare is based on the Libre Open Access standard. This means that all articles published in the journal are openly available, i.e. they are immediately and freely available to read, download and share. Articles published under the Libre Open Access standard may be made available on websites, used for teaching purposes and deposited in repositories without the need to obtain additional permission from the author or publisher. Appropriate attribution to the author and the applicable licence must always be provided.

Articles and other scholarly content published in Seminare are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0), which permits:

• Sharing – copying and redistributing the material in any medium or format for any purpose, including commercial purposes.
• Adaptation – remixing, transforming and building upon the material for any purpose, including commercial purposes.

Under the following terms:

• Attribution – appropriate credit must be given, a link to the licence must be provided, and any changes made to the material must be indicated. This may be done in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests that the licensor endorses the user or the way in which the material is used.
• No additional restrictions – no legal terms or technological measures may be applied that legally restrict others from doing anything the licence permits.

Copyright Policy: Authors retain copyright to the materials published in Seminare. Authors are responsible for ensuring that the manuscript and all materials included in it do not infringe the rights of third parties. When using copyright-protected materials, authors are required to obtain any necessary permissions, where applicable, and to provide appropriate information on the source and legal status of such materials. Third-party materials that are not covered by the CC BY 4.0 licence applicable to the article must be clearly identified as such.

Editorial Fees Policy: Authors are not charged any fees related to the publication of their articles. This applies to article processing charges (APCs), editorial fees, colour charges, submission fees, page charges, membership fees, subscription costs, printing costs and any other additional publication-related fees. The Editorial Office does not provide financial remuneration to authors for published materials.

Self-Archiving Policy: Authors may deposit, without any embargo period, the following versions of manuscripts submitted to Seminare: (1) the submitted version, (2) the accepted version, and (3) the published version. These versions may be deposited in institutional repositories or other repositories selected by the authors.

Long-Term Archiving and Preservation: Published issues of Seminare are permanently preserved by the National Library of Poland. Content published by the journal is also subject to long-term digital preservation through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), which supports the preservation and recovery of published electronic materials in the event that they become unavailable through the journal’s primary publishing platform.
