Kindergarten closer to nature – a nature trail as a response to development needs of a child

Abstract

The aim of this study is an attempt to present the challenges and advantages of education in nature implemented within the nature trail in response to problems concerning the formation of real attitudes and behaviours towards nature, as well as resulting from their absence, developmental deficits in preschool children. Material for the present study was created as a result of research work carried out in the Local Government Kindergarten No. 13 in Biała Podlaska. The analysis of obtained research results allowed to confirm the need of bringing back the nature in kindergarten education.
