Abstract

The article is a reflection on the practical use of pedagogical drama in intercultural education. I treat the drama method as an important area of students' activity that presents an opportunity for self-knowledge and changing the social perception of "otherness," where the differentiating feature is no longer perceived as dangerous for the sense of individual and group integrity, but as complementary individual identities worth knowing.

Theoretical explorations have made it possible to distinguish the basic categories for the text: drama and intercultural education. The task that accompanied my research was also to describe the identity of drama and intercultural education in the context of intercultural education goals.

The possibility of using drama techniques was presented on the example of intercultural education classes for students of pedagogy.
