Abstract

The article discusses the issue of application of an educational project in working with children of early school age.
To answer the question of what qualities of the educational project motivate teachers-to-be to develop skills useful in organizing and carrying out project activities together with children, a three-layer analysis of qualitative data was used. The research in which students of pre-school and early school pedagogy participated was conducted within the framework of the subject-centered/participatory paradigm.
Based on the analysis, it has been determined that the benefits of child development resulting from participation in the educational project, along with the positive impact on the institution's image and the fostering of teacher-student relationships, serve as the primary motivators for aspiring teachers to develop the necessary skills in organizing project activities.
