Negative Aesthetics at the Foundation of Eco-Education (Environmental Education)

Abstract

This article presents a comprehensive analysis of the relationships between negative aesthetics and eco-education. In the first part of the article a retrospective examination of the origins of negative aesthetics is conducted, showcasing its evolution and highlighting the pioneers of this movement. In the second chapter, titled "Negative Aesthetics at the Core of Eco-Education – Outlining the Issue," a closer look is taken at how negative aesthetics permeate the field of eco-education and its significance within this context. In the final section of the article, specific examples or areas where negative aesthetics influences the development of eco-education are presented.  The article demonstrates how negative aesthetics can be utilized as an inspiring tool in the learning process concerning changes occurring in the natural environment and can contribute to shaping ecological awareness within society.
