Abstract

The aim of this article is to analyse selected content of the Epale community platform, which are the results of project activities related to adult education and learning.

The research questions relate to the areas of adult learning, that can be identified from the descriptions of the results collected there, the popularity of the categories highlighted there, and analyses of the functions and evaluation of the platform itself.

To answer the questions posed, a content analysis of the foundational data collected on the platform was applied.

The author presents the assumption that the Epale community platform is the largest virtual, multilingual and open community in Europe, dealing with adult education in its broadest sense and documenting such activities. The advantage of the platform is the space for sharing the developed results, less so the possibility for its users to create it. The results described clearly document trends in the activities undertaken by users, e.g. climate education, although rather conservatively and with little criticism.
