Abstract

On 12–13 September 2024, a scholarly conference was held at the Pustelnia Złotego Lasu in Rytwiany to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the Camaldolese arrival and the foundation of the Rytwiany monastery. The conference included five thematic panels: foundations and founders, post-Tridentine reforms, monastic daily life, writing and libraries, and Camaldolese in political events. It facilitated exchange of research results on the history of Camaldolese monasteries in Poland and promoted interdisciplinary studies.
