SPCh THEMATIC ISSUES
Some issues of SPCh contain collections of texts that are closely related to each other in terms of subject matter. They are the result of conferences organised at the Faculty of Christian Philosophy of the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw and other philosophical centres in Poland, as well as the result of cooperation with groups of researchers working on specific topics. Examples include issues 1 and 2 from 2018, entitled The Philosophy of Normativity, which contain articles focusing on various aspects of the title topic (they were reviewed in the journal Avant in 2019). An example of an issue containing texts from conference presentations is issue 3 from 2017, which published articles by participants of an international conference organised in October 2015 at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw to commemorate the 600th anniversary of Paweł Włodkowic's speech at the Council of Constance. These articles deal with issues related to the theory of just war. Therefore, some issues of the journal were co-edited by persons invited by the editorial board in connection with the theme of a given issue. This was most often the case with post-conference texts or as part of scientific cooperation with another philosophical centre. Editors invited by the SPCh editorial board in order of volume: Paweł Mazanka, Dariusz Piętka, Sylwia Zawadzka (1/2011, 2/2011); Adam Świeżyński, Kordula Świętorzecka (4/2011); Ryszard Moń (4/2012); Andrzej Wierciński (4/2013, 1/2014); Andrzej Kobyliński, Ryszard Moń (3/2014); Adam Cebula, Ryszard Moń (2/2015, 3/2015); Adam Cebula, Magdalena Płotka (3/2017); Michał Piekarski (1/2018, 2/2018); Piotr Leśniak (3/2018, 4/2018, 2/2020); Michał Adamczyk, Kordula Świętorzecka (2/2019).
Among the issues of SPCh published, there are also those devoted entirely or in part to outstanding figures of the Polish philosophical community. They contain a presentation and discussion of their scientific achievements and collections of texts related to their scientific activity. The occasion for their publication was the anniversaries of the scientific work or the birthdays or deaths of the aforementioned philosophers. These include: Tadeusz Ślipko (1 and 2/1989, 1/2004); Kazimierz Kłósak (2/1992); Mieczysław Lubański (2/1994, 2/2004); Szczepan W. Ślaga (1/1996); Mieczysław Gogacz (2/1996, 2/2006); Edmund Morawiec (2/2002, 1 and 2/2011), Andrzej Półtawski (2/2003), Grzegorz Bugajak (4/2020).
