Abstrakt

Niniejszy artykuł jest głosem przedstawicielki EPWS (Europejskiej Platformy Kobiet w Nauce) w dyskusji dotyczącej sytuacji kobiet naukowców w Europie, polityki Unii Europejskiej w tym zakresie oraz podejmowanych oddolnie działań. EPWS jest platformą zrzeszającą tak organizacje i instytucje, jak i indywidualne przedstawicielki świata nauki (ponad 12.000 osób), pełni rolę orzeczniczą oraz pośredniczy w kontaktach określonych środowisk a przedstawicielami instytucji europejskich. W tekście przedstawione zostały najważniejsze dokonania EPWS w zakresie współpracy międzynarodowej i rola tej instytucji w promowaniu kobiet naukowców.
