Manuscripts must be prepared in English using the official Seminare Word template and submitted through the journal’s online submission platform. Detailed requirements for manuscript preparation and submission are provided on the “Manuscript Structure and Citing” page. The information below refers to the relevant sections of that page.

Requirements concerning manuscript structure, formatting, figures, tables, and digital accessibility are set out in Sections 1–5.

Seminare uses the Chicago author–date citation style, based on the 18th edition of The Chicago Manual of Style. Detailed rules are provided in Section 8 and in the official Chicago Author-Date Citation Quick Guide.

All required Statements must be included directly in the manuscript in accordance with the official template and Section 9.

Authors are also required to submit a signed Publishing Agreement, in accordance with Section 10.

Submission of a manuscript does not guarantee that it will be sent for external peer review or accepted for publication.

Authors retain copyright to the materials published in Seminare. Articles and other scholarly content are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that the manuscript and all materials included in it do not infringe the rights of third parties. When using copyright-protected materials, authors are required to obtain any necessary permissions, where applicable, and to clearly identify any materials that are not covered by the CC BY 4.0 licence applicable to the article.

Privacy Statement

Seminare protects the personal data of authors, reviewers, members of the journal’s governing bodies, readers, and other persons using the editorial system or cooperating with the Editorial Board.

The controller of personal data processed in connection with the editorial and publishing activities of Seminare is the Francis de Sales Scientific Society (TNFS), the publisher of the journal. Seminare uses the Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw Journals Platform and the Open Journal Systems (OJS) system, in which personal data may be processed to the extent necessary for the technical operation of the publishing process.

Personal data are used exclusively for purposes related to the journal’s scholarly, editorial, and publishing activities, in particular for managing user accounts, manuscript submissions, the peer-review process, communication, and the publication of articles and their metadata. Personal data are not disclosed to third parties for marketing or commercial purposes unrelated to the journal’s activities. Authors’ data intended for publication, such as name and surname, affiliation, ORCID identifier and – in the case of the author designated for correspondence – e-mail address, may be made publicly available as part of the publication and its metadata.

Personal data are protected in accordance with applicable data-protection laws and the confidentiality principles governing the editorial and peer-review processes. They are retained for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes for which they were collected, taking into account requirements concerning documentation and the integrity of the publishing process.

Persons whose personal data are processed have the rights provided for under applicable data-protection laws, in particular the right to access their data, rectify or erase them, restrict their processing, and object to their processing, insofar as these rights apply. Any questions, requests concerning personal data, or reports of personal-data breaches should be addressed to the Francis de Sales Scientific Society via the contact form available on the TNFS website.

A person who believes that their personal data is being processed in breach of the regulations also has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) of Poland.
