This article reflects on the virtue of hope in the context of the Ordinary Jubilee of the Year 2025. The Jubilee period constitutes a special space of grace, fostering in-depth theological and catechetical reflection on the meaning of hope in the Christian life. The aim of this article is to demonstrate the essence of the virtue of hope and its significance for contemporary catechesis. The analysis is conducted from three complementary perspectives: historical-cultural, biblical, and pastoral-catechetical. First, the understanding of hope is presented against the background of the history of human thought and cultural experience, then its roots in biblical revelation are demonstrated, with particular emphasis on the New Testament. Finally, the pastoral and catechetical implications are discussed, pointing to hope as a key element of Christian formation and the Church’s response to contemporary crises of meaning, faith, and the future.
