Abstract

The climate crisis outbreak requires more attention to environmental education, leading to earth protection. In such a situation, developing Polish versions of scales for assessing pro-environmental attitudes and behavior appears essential. These measures will help identify people who need to be included in the environmental education process and evaluate the interventions' effectiveness. The purpose of this study was the Polish adaptation of the Environmental Concern Scale and the Pro-environmental Behavior Scale. Analyses were conducted on 616 young adults aged 19-25, 47% of whom were women. The adapted measures showed high convergence and reliability. These scales can be used by practitioners and in scientific research.
