Abstract

The aim of the presented text was to draw attention to values that are not always realized and are important for the quality of human life, and the ways of experiencing them can be used to model and rebuild health resources. The problem was related to the question: to what extent can education for peace become significant for the reinterpretation of the category of positive health in the context of traumatic experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic? The answer was obtained by tracing the ways of defining and experiencing peace, determining the mechanisms accompanying education for/for peace, and placing health among vital values. The conclusion presents the interconnections of the culture of peace and hygiene culture in relation to the culture of education in order to recognize and reduce in educational practice the anxieties and existential void caused by the pandemic.
