Abstract

The article considers the issue of the subjectivity of man as a subject of labour. The core material for this discussion is Pope John Paul II’s encyclical “Laborem Exercens”. However, only chosen fragments concerning man as a subject of labour will be used. The subjectivity of man is shown as an aspect of the subjectivity of work and its aim as well as being a transitive and intransitive process.
