RELIGIOUS UPBRINGING OF THE DEAF PEOPLE

Abstract

From certain time, a remarkable increase of interest in handicapped people life zone – taboo until today – is easy to observed. In the article the author aims to identify the difficulties deaf people encounter with the development of their religiousness. The author claims that in the area of pedagogical research specific needs of these people should not be skipped. The article consists of three sections. In the first part the history of spiritual care about the deaf people is outlined. The second part describes religious behaviors of deaf people. In the third one, on the basis of so-called good practices, the author presents some guidelines to follow in the context of the development of deaf people religiousness.
