Korczak and the Polish Radio

Abstract

The article concerns a little-known story of Janusz Korczak educational activity, which was the collaboration with the Polish Radio. In the 1930s he prepared and presented a lot of radio dramas for children as well as for adults. These dramas were focused on problems of education. The cooperation with the Polish Radio was cancelled twice without giving any reason. The old Doctor not only appreciated the power of new social medium, but also had great hopes. He wanted to use “omnipotence” of the medium to change the image of children and their problems.
