Abstract

The second part of the article on Polish education in Canada discusses its development after the end of World War II. Based on statistical data obtained from school surveys by the School Committee of the Canadian Polish Congress in 1965 and 1968, the state of Polish education in Canada in that period is presented. Their analysis allows for the presentation of the geographical structure of the Polish schooling network, covering 15 metropolitan cities, medium-sized and small towns, and villages. At the end of the 20th century, there were about 95 Polish schools and 36 kindergartens in Canada, employing 620 teachers. About 13,000 children and adolescents were educated in those institutions.
