Rafał Wiśniewski , Marcin Zarzecki

Abstract

Preservation of biological diversity of the Kampinos National Park and the life and health of inhabitants of the Warsaw conurbation was performed by the CAWI technique on a sample of n=665 respondents based on the exploratory survey model. According to 98% of the investigated, actions towards the Kampinos National Park (KNP) are of particular importance for future generations. Students declare a high level of responsibility for the preservation of KNP as a natural monument (82.3%), although they believe that this condition is of major importance to the country (76.5%) and the inhabitants of Warsaw (19.4%), not for them personally (3,5%). Over 80% of the respondents visited at least once KNP for recreational purposes, but neither for cognitive ones nor for ecological education.
