Studia Ecologiae et Bioethicae (SEeB) has published its Annual Impact Report 2025, summarizing the journal’s recent development and growing international visibility. The report shows that 2025 was the strongest year in the journal’s history in terms of citation impact, percentile rankings, and international reach. Between 2023 and 2025, SEeB advanced from the 49th to the 68th percentile in the Scopus Philosophy category and from the 39th to the 59th percentile in Arts & Humanities (misc.), while maintaining Q2 status in both categories and achieving a CiteScore of 0.9.
The report also highlights the journal’s expanding international community. Volume 23 brought together 87 authors representing 18 countries, while the peer-review process involved 78 reviewers from 26 countries across five continents. Combined with more than 125,000 article views and 73,000 PDF downloads in 2025, these results confirm SEeB’s growing role as an international forum for environmental humanities, environmental ethics, ecophilosophy, and interdisciplinary reflection on the human dimensions of the ecological crisis.
