20th International Conference in the Humanistic Ecology Series (Chișinău, 11–12 September 2026)

The 20th International Conference in the Humanistic Ecology Series, entitled Ecological Challenges in the 21st Century: Between Nature and Society – Interdisciplinary Reflections on Environmental Crisis, will take place on 11–12 September 2026 in Chișinău (Republic of Moldova). This anniversary edition marks twenty years of the Humanistic Ecology conference series and brings together researchers from the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, education, law, and public policy to discuss the environmental challenges facing contemporary societies. Although the call for papers has closed, interested scholars, students, and practitioners are still invited to participate in selected online sessions. SEeB Receives Recognition for Its Contribution to FAO AGRIS

We are pleased to inform our Authors, Readers, Reviewers, members of the Scientific Council, and the Editorial Team that Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw has received the Seal of Recognition for the FAO AGRIS Active Data Provider of the Year 2027.
This recognition is directly linked to the activities of Studia Ecologiae et Bioethicae (SEeB), which provide data to FAO AGRIS. Through SEeB, scholarly metadata are regularly made available to AGRIS, strengthening the international visibility, accessibility, and dissemination of research published in the journal.

Studia Ecologiae et Bioethicae (SEeB) has published its Annual Impact Report 2025, summarizing the journal’s recent development and growing international visibility. The report shows that 2025 was the strongest year in the journal’s history in terms of citation impact, percentile rankings, and international reach. Between 2023 and 2025, SEeB advanced from the 49th to the 68th percentile in the Scopus Philosophy category and from the 39th to the 59th percentile in Arts & Humanities (misc.), while maintaining Q2 status in both categories and achieving a CiteScore of 0.9.
