Abstract

The Institute of Pedagogy and the Faculty of Pedagogical Sciences at Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University organised the fifth national conference on disability and the challenges faced by people with disabilities in today’s world. The event was co-organised by numerous Polish universities, as well as organisations working on behalf of people with disabilities. Over forty speakers volunteered to deliver presentations. Following the opening lecture, a plenary session took place, followed by four thematic sessions. In their presentations, the speakers addressed a wide range of issues related to disability and discussed various forms of support provided to people with disabilities.
