Abstract

The aim of this article is to present the possibility of shaping not only broadly understood competences - personal resources of an individual, but also creating agency in the course of implementing a social project, in isolation from school reality.
Social project - based on the project method, it can be implemented not only in the course of formal education, often overloaded with the content of the core curriculum, with no place for cooperation between students. An alternative that allows to turn to the individual and the possibility of his development is the platform „Exempt of Theory”. The implementation of a social project in the team will allow to develop cooperation, the necessary social skill, responsibility, and a sense of agency, which is crucial especially in the course of changes and life or professional challenges. It allows an individual to take actions that will benefit not only himself but also the community in which he lives.
