Abstract

Father Bartosik's intervention deals with the cult of Mary in the Byzantine liturgy. The presentation is practically divided into two parts. The first part presents the Church and the Byzantine liturgy,  where the author briefly gives a general overview of the historical context of the ecclesial community presented. In the second part the "Marian cult" is presented, where the author makes known the place of Mary, through the analysis of the content of the Marian feasts and the examination of the particular euchological texts - above all by highlighting the presence of the Mother of God in the Eucharistic  celebration.
