Abstract

Serving people is the basic task of charitable activity. This task is done today - in the name of the Church - by Caritas. The Church was sent to serve only people and is meant to serve everyone, regardless of family circumstances. It is therefore a matter of observing the principle of the equality of all people and caring for every person. The activities of Caritas mainly include: children from pathological families, elderly, sick and lonely, disabled and handicapped, unemployed, homeless, addicts, refugees and immigrants. The basis of this activity is to recognize every human being as the highest value in the world.
