Abstract

Prof. St. Czerwik, liturgist from Kielce and consultor of the Roman Congregation „Of Culto...”, deals with the Eucharistic Mystery in the documents after the Second Vatican Council and in "Catechism of the Catholic Church". The Author first takes a panoramic look at the historical changes in living the Eucharistic Mystery. It relies here above all on teaching of the Councils on the subject. Then, Prof. Czerwik talks about the structure and the second Eucharistic worship teaching and documents after the Council. All this allows the author to demonstrate the new ones elements of the teaching on the Eucharist, which emerge from the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Finally, some scientific conclusions and pastoral proposals are specified.
