This article, entitled: „Historical Theological Aspects of Blessings” is linked to the publication „De benedictionsibus” in the Polish language. THERE. first presents both the biblical and liturgical roots of the blessings, to better understand the entire celebratory context presented by the Benediction. I study wants to make Polish Christians aware of the new liturgical Book, made by the Church a service of the people of God. The A. is addressed first of all to the pastors and catechists of the Polish Church, inviting them to study, pray and reflect on the "Ordo" of the Blessing. On this field above all it suggests a gradual and accurate liturgical catechesis.
