As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

Author Guidelines

ZASADY PUBLIKACJI

The editors of " Theological Studies Bialystok Drohiczyn Lomza" ask the authors to familiarize themselves with the rules of the qualification and publishing process. Before submitting your text for publication, check the following criteria 1) I declare that the deposited article does not have signs of plagiarism, it is my authorship, i.e. it is a work that in no way constitutes a violation of any existing license or copyright within the meaning of the Act of February 4, 1994 on Copyright and Related Rights(Journal of Laws 2006, No. 90, item 631)[ https://isap.sejm.gov.pl/isap.nsf/download.xsp/WDU20060900631/U/D20060631Lj.pdf] applicable to all or part of the work . It does not infringe personal rights protected by applicable law and does not contain data and information that could have been obtained in an illegal manner. I have unlimited copyright (personal and property) to the text submitted for publication in the journal " Theological Studies Bialystok Drohiczyn Lomza ". 

2) I declare that the above text has not been published anywhere in any language or submitted for review in any scientific journal.

3) I declare that I will not submit the above text to another publisher until the publishing procedure for publication in " Theological Studies Bialystok Drohiczyn Lomza " is completed.

4) I declare that the article has been prepared in accordance with the guidelines for the author posted on the website of " Theological Studies Bialystok Drohiczyn Lomza " under the link provided, and that I am aware that failure to comply with these guidelines may result in rejection of the text by the Editors for formal reasons (internal review) .

5) I declare that in my work I have indicated all the people who contributed to its creation (according to the ghostwriting principle) and that there are no people among its authors who did not significantly contribute to its creation (guest authorship). Thus, I exclude hidden authorship, apparent authorship and courtesy authorship. I am also aware of the legal and scientific consequences of making false statements.

6) I declare that I have disclosed all significant sources of funding for the deposited article.

7) I agree to make the necessary changes to the above text, which result from the editorial rules.

8) I consent to the free publication (issue) of the above text in " Theological Studies Bialystok Drohiczyn Lomza " in electronic form on the website of the above magazine and in paper form, and no financial claims are associated with it - my own or third parties.

9) I declare that the publishing conditions of the publication in the above journal are known to me and I accept them.

11) I agree to the publication of: a) my official e-mail address, b) information about my affiliation with the institution and the address of the institution.

12) After reading the above criteria, please print the "Declaration of the author of the text" form, fill it in, sign it and attach it to the text file of the article.

Guidelines for authors

  1. Each text submitted for publication in " Theological Studies Bialystok Drohiczyn Lomza " should take into account the standards listed below. If the text does not meet the requirements of the instructions below, after an internal review, it will be removed to the archive, and the author will be asked to correct the text and submit it again. Only when an article meets the required guidelines, it can be reviewed.
  2. Only articles that meet the criterion of high scientific level and original, i.e. those that have not been published so far, may be published in the journal.
  3. " Theological Studies Bialystok Drohiczyn Lomza " accepts articles in Polish and in congress languages.
  4. The author is obliged to write his article in such a way that the external reviewer who will read the text and review it anonymously (double-blind-review process) cannot recognize the name of the author of the text on the basis of information contained, for example, in the text proper (main) or footnotes.
  5. If the Author does not send back the author's correction within the deadline, or does not respond to the edited text, it means that the Author agrees to the publication of the text in the current form proposed in the correction by the editors.
  6. Authors of published scientific papers receive 1 paper copy of the journal free of charge. Each author confirms by e-mail the fact of receiving an author's copy from the Editorial Office.
  7. The author submits the article for publication via the electronic system Platform & Workfow by OJS/PKP, go to the website internetową https://czasopisma.uksw.edu.pl/ and if it is there for the first time, you must register and log in.

Editorial guidelines

The text should be edited according to the following scheme:

  1. Author's name and surname
  2. Polish title
  3. Content (article subtitles listed in points)
  4. Full text of the article
  5. Summary in Polish (approx. 150 words)
  6. Keywords (4-5 words)
  7. Title in English
  8. Abstract in English
  9. Key words
  10. Bibliography
  11. Author's details: name and surname of the author, academic degree or title, affiliation (University, Institute, Department) with the exact address, correspondence address, telephone number, e-mail.
  12. The abstract is to specify the key criteria related to the prepared text. They are to include: defining the subject and purpose of the research along with the justification of the issue undertaken in the work. It should be concise, specify the methodology of work and explain the individual research steps, which also determine the structure of the prepared text. In the summary, the abstract is to contain the conclusions collected by the author. It should be written in a clear language that allows you to quickly assess whether the text is useful for a given reader. The abstract cannot exceed 500 characters with spaces. The abstract should be accompanied by "key words". These are to be terms (or possibly two- or maximum three-member word combinations) that are semantically related to the topic of the prepared text. It can be a maximum of five terms or word combinations.

When preparing an abstract, it should be noted that it is not:

- any selected fragment of the introduction or conclusion of the article;

- a collection of theorems, words that are not present in the presented article.

  1. Texts should be saved in doc, docx or rtf formats.
  2. TimesNewRoman font
  3. Main text: 12 pts, title 16 pts, 1.5 spacing, 2.5 cm margins.

In the text, a full stop or comma follows the footnote number, not before it.

  1. Footnotes at the bottom of the page: 10 points, 1 space. We put a period at the end of the footnote.
  2. Please divide the text with subheadings (with Arabic numbering from the left margin).
  3. Quotations should be written in quotation marks ("simple" text - not in italics). Terms and quotations in foreign languages ​​(regardless of the language) should be written in italics.
  4. Please remove hyperlinks.
  5. Responsibility arising from copyright and publishing rights (reprinting of illustrations, tables and charts and quoting from other sources) is borne by the author.
  6. The volume of the text should be respected. The article should contain at least 21,000 characters (without bibliography), but not more than 45,000 characters, including spaces, along with footnotes and bibliography.
  7. We place the bibliography in alphabetical order (only works that are referred to in the article). Sources should be prepared according to the following scheme: Surname, first letters of the author's first name(s), title in italics, edition of the text, page numbers (if it is part of a collective work) on which the original text is located. Please do not use spaces between individual items. Example:

  1. "Reports". The name of the rapporteur is placed above the text of the report in the upper left corner. The title of the scientific meeting is then given, followed by the place and time. Only the content of the report.
  2. "Reviews". In the review above the text, we put: name (full) and surname of the author of the reviewed work, full title (in bold italics) according to the title page (when the review concerns a collective work or source edition, after the title we give full names and surnames of editors or publishers; if the work is a multivolume – the number of volumes or parts in Arabic numerals, e.g. vol. 1–2), possibly the name of the publishing series, place and year of publication, number of pages. At the end of the review, we provide the name (in bold italics) of the reviewer. The content of the review itself should be concise, interesting and critical, encouraging to read this book. The review is not a summary of the work, but a critical presentation of it.
  3. "Materials". This is a section where polemical texts, manuscripts, diaries, bibliographies, content presenting some scientific value but not being a scientific article are placed.
