The Academic Publishing House of Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University has a long and rich tradition. With the transformation of the Academy of Catholic Theology (ATK) into Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw (UKSW) in 1999, the UKSW Academic Publishing House took over the tradition of the ATK Publishing House, which had been active on the publishing market since 1954.

UKSW Academic Publishing House publishes academic works: monographs, doctoral and postdoctoral dissertations in theology, philosophy, humanities, pedagogy, social sciences and law, as well as mathematics and natural sciences. The special achievement of the Publishing House are publications of series. Among the most important of these are translations of texts of ancient Christian authors, translations of texts of medieval philosophers and theologians, biblical studies, dogmatic studies and studies in natural philosophy. The UKSW Academic Publishing House also publishes collective works, volumes of poetry, guidebooks, post-conference materials and textbooks on subjects undertaken in research and education carried out at UKSW. The Publishing House publishes more than twenty titles of academic journals, including Studia Theologica Varsaviensia.
